How to build your package

Axle and Hardware: pick 30mm, 40mm, or 50mm with steel or titanium hardware. Titanium is labeled (+$28) versus steel.
Sprocket Guard: already have one, add a carbon size, or choose PETG Black 6.5" / 7.5" (lower cost, same weight class as carbon).

The Mini Sprocket Hub is machined from billet 7075 aluminum with a split-clamp design and keyway. It mounts your rear sprocket to the axle on a 4-stroke kart so you can change gear ratios quickly between races without removing the whole assembly. Racers choose titanium hardware for every last gram, or steel hardware for durability at a lower price. The full system (hub + sprocket + guard) weighs about 15 oz.

About the light sprocket guards

These light guards are not meant as heavy rock / debris shields. Their job is closer to keeping a loose chain from skipping a tooth. Run a rear gear small enough that you are not risking the axle nut bottoming out. That is the point of this setup: less rotating weight.

Carbon fiber: can break if you bottom out. Choose it when you want the lightest look and you are not bottoming the nut.

PETG Black: same weight class as carbon at lower cost. Prefer PETG if you want a tougher practice / budget option. Other PETG colors are on the standalone guard page linked below.

Installation Tips: Clean the axle thoroughly and apply a light coat of anti-seize before sliding the mini sprocket hub into place. Apply blue Loctite to the hub grub / set screw (it will not hurt). Torque the pinch bolts in a criss-cross pattern with a calibrated torque wrench so the keyway clamps securely without damaging the axle.
