The JB Race Works Smoker Chain Aligner is a simple tool that lets you check #219 chain line with the guard still on. It clamps onto a 1/8" Smoker gear and shoots a laser so you can see if the clutch driver, chain, and rear gear are in the same plane. Use it on a split #219 in-rail gear or a one-piece #219 rear for outboard drive. Half-tooth sizes work the same way, including one-piece half-tooth #219 gears. A crooked chain on a 15 oz hub stack wastes the weight you just took off. This tool finds that before the chain and driver wear out.

Built for sprint and enduro. Leave the carbon two-piece #219 cover or the mini-hub guard with the tooth-count window on the kart. Clamp, light the laser, line the chain to the driver. If you are building a full light rear, pair the aligner with a 30mm / 40mm / 50mm mini hub, steel or titanium bolts and a 15-gear #219 package so every ratio in the box sits true.
