Shipping Policy

Order Processing, Shipping, and Handling

Swift Karting ships orders from one or more fulfillment locations within the United States. In addition to carrier shipping charges, shipping and handling fees may apply to cover packaging materials, labor, insurance (when applicable), dimensional weight adjustments, and fulfillment costs.

Swift Karting utilizes Tier 4 shipping rates to provide highly competitive shipping costs
for karting parts. There may be an outbound handling fee included in the shipping total
for orders below a certain subtotal to help cover packaging, fulfillment, and processing costs.

Orders are processed on business days only. Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays. Processing time does not count toward carrier transit time. Same-day shipment is not guaranteed, even for in-stock items.

Carrier cutoff times can affect when an order ships. Orders placed after a carrier’s daily cutoff time may not ship until the next business day, even if the item is in stock.

Typical daily carrier cutoff times (Eastern Time)

  • USPS Priority: approximately 9:30 AM
  • FedEx Ground: approximately 2:00 PM
  • UPS Ground: approximately 3:30 PM

Cutoff times can change without notice due to carrier schedules, seasonal volume, or operational constraints.


Shipping Methods and Carriers

Swift Karting uses a variety of carriers, including UPS, FedEx, DHL, and the United States Postal Service. Shipping methods are selected based on item size, weight, destination, available service levels, and packaging needs.

Swift Karting reserves the right to select or change the shipping carrier or service level, split orders into multiple shipments, and add insurance or signature confirmation when deemed necessary.

Shipping rates are calculated using package dimensions, weight, destination, and service level. Dimensional weight charges may apply, and final shipping and handling costs may differ from automated estimates.

Large but lightweight items such as seats, bodywork, and panels may ship based on dimensional weight rather than actual weight, which can significantly increase shipping costs.


Estimated Delivery Times

All delivery dates shown at checkout or communicated by Swift Karting are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

  • Transit time estimates exclude weekends and holidays.
  • Transit time begins after the order has shipped.
  • Transit time may be affected by weather, carrier delays, peak shipping periods, product availability, address issues, or other factors beyond our control.

Swift Karting is not responsible for carrier delays once an order has shipped. Shipping and handling charges remain non-refundable in all cases.


USPS and Economy Shipping Options

If USPS or economy shipping options are selected:

  • Delivery times are not guaranteed.
  • Tracking updates may be limited or delayed.
  • Insurance may not be included.

USPS Priority shipments selected after the daily cutoff time may experience an additional one business day delay compared to ground services. Customers selecting these services accept the associated risks.


Freight, Oversized, and Special Handling Items

Certain oversized, heavy, or high-value items may require freight shipping or special handling. When freight shipping is required, the customer will be notified with carrier details once the shipment has been picked up.

Some items require special packaging or separate boxes for safe shipment. Additional shipping and handling fees may apply when special packaging, oversized cartons, or split shipments are required.


Backorders and Product Availability

Some karting products may be subject to availability delays. If an item is backordered or becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will attempt to notify you prior to shipment.

  • You may choose to wait for the item.
  • You may choose to ship available items separately (additional shipping and handling fees may apply).
  • You may request cancellation of the affected portion of the order when possible.

Free Shipping Promotions (When Offered)

If a free shipping promotion is active, it applies to standard ground shipping only within the continental United States unless stated otherwise. Oversized items, freight shipments, special packaging, insurance, handling fees, and expedited services may be excluded.

If an order that qualified for free shipping is returned, the original outbound shipping and handling cost may be deducted from the refund, as described in our Return and Refund Policy.


International Shipping and Freight Forwarders

International shipping is not available by default. International orders may be accepted only with prior written approval from Swift Karting. Customers seeking international shipment must contact us before placing an order.

If international shipping is approved, the customer is responsible for all duties, taxes, customs fees, and import charges. Transit times are estimates only and not guaranteed. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Signature confirmation and insurance may be required at Swift Karting’s discretion.

Orders shipped to freight forwarding services are considered delivered once received by the forwarding provider. Swift Karting is not responsible for loss, damage, delays, customs issues, or additional fees after delivery to the forwarding service. All international and freight-forwarded orders are considered final sale unless otherwise required by law.


Shipping Issues and Responsibility

  • Swift Karting is not responsible for packages marked as delivered but lost or stolen after delivery.
  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate and secure shipping addresses.
  • Signature confirmation may be required for certain shipments.

Any claims for lost or damaged shipments must be reported promptly. Carrier determinations regarding claims are final.


Non-Refundable Shipping and Handling

All shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. By placing an order with Swift Karting, you acknowledge and agree to this Shipping Policy. This matches our Return and Refund Policy, which also states that outbound shipping and handling may be deducted from refunds where applicable.


IMPORTANT – SHIPPING DAMAGE, LOSS & CLAIMS

In the event of a claim, these are very rare. Communication is key. Claims must be reported within strict time frames and require written notice and documentation. Please read the section below carefully.

Shipping Insurance & Claims

Shipping insurance may be added at Swift Karting’s discretion based on item type, order value, and shipping method.

Insurance is typically applied to high-value or high-risk shipments, including but not limited to:

  • Electrical and electronic components
  • Engines and engine assemblies
  • Chassis, frames, and large structural components

Most standard karting parts are shipped without additional insurance. Carrier liability and claim determinations apply in all cases. All UPS shipments are insured up to $100 no matter the product.

Damage, Loss, or Delivery Claims

In the event of shipping damage, loss, or delivery issues, the customer must notify Swift Karting in writing within the time frames listed below.

  • Visible damage: must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
  • Concealed damage: must be reported within 5 calendar days of delivery
  • Lost or missing shipments: must be reported within 7 calendar days of the expected delivery date

The customer must provide required documentation, which may include photographs of the item, packaging, shipping labels, and any additional information requested to support the claim.

Failure to report a claim within the required timeframe, or failure to provide requested documentation, may result in the claim being denied.

Swift Karting is not responsible for carrier claim denials, delays in claim processing, or damages not covered by carrier liability or applicable shipping insurance. All carrier determinations are final.


Local Pickup Orders

If a customer selects local pickup at checkout, orders require a minimum of 24 hours processing time when placed after the daily order cutoff time.

Customers should not arrive at the pickup location until the order has been marked as Ready for Pickup and confirmation has been provided.

For questions regarding pickup timing or availability, customers are encouraged to contact the store before arriving.
