Led by owner and machinist Mark Cerk, Swift Karting and MC Engines offers complete mechanical support for all chassis brands, not just our own. Backed by over 25 years of racing experience and an aggressive R&D program, we provide capabilities that standard shops simply cannot match.

Our facility is equipped with professional lathes, end mills, and TIG/MIG welding stations, allowing us to perform custom fabrication and complex repairs in-house. From precision frame and axle straightening on our flat table to chassis scaling and alignment, we restore your equipment to factory geometry. On the engine side, we utilize an in-house dyno and flow bench to deliver data-driven blueprinting, carburetor calibration, and clutch tuning. Whether you need a simple brake service or a national-level package build, we have the tooling and experience to get it done right.

Powered by our MC Engines division, we offer world-class engine blueprinting with a major emphasis on LO206 development. We do not just assemble kits, we run an aggressive R&D program, hand-selecting components and testing combinations to find every legal advantage. Whether it is a 206 adult, cadet, or kid kart, we build powerplants capable of winning at the front.

Carburetor and Clutch Calibration

The secret to consistent lap times lies in the details. We utilize flow-bench technology to tune carburetors for optimal throttle response and air-fuel mixtures specific to your class. We also precision-tune clutches, setting the correct engagement RPM and blueprinting the assembly to ensure maximum drive off every corner. We provide complete carburetor and clutch blueprinting for LO206 engines, and yes, these engines want clean air and repeatable flow.

Chassis Fabrication and Swift Karts

As the home of Swift Karts, we are a full-service fabrication shop. Beyond manufacturing our own chassis, we offer expert TIG welding and custom fabrication services for all brands. Whether you need a seat strut moved, a crack repaired, or a custom component created, we have the tooling and experience to fabricate it in-house, correctly.

Frame and Axle Straightening

Stop chasing setup issues caused by twisted metal. Using our professional chassis surface plate (flat table), we measure and straighten frames to within factory tolerances. We also provide precision straightening for bent axles. This service is available for all chassis manufacturers, not just Swift Karts, to restore neutral handling and get you back on pace.

Dyno Testing and Trackside Support

Take the guesswork out of your setup. Our in-house dyno services allow us to break in engines, verify power curves, and simulate load conditions to ensure reliability. We back this up with trackside support, offering data analysis, chassis tuning, and coaching to translate dyno numbers into lower lap times on race day. Every engine is dyno verified and tested for consistent results. We also offer trackside support at Kart Racers of America, Indy Karting Challenge, OVKA, and PRO AM Karting.
