Championship Winning Tires for 4-Cycle Kart Racing

Tires are the single biggest performance variable in 4-cycle karting. Whether you are running LO206, Clone, or World Formula, fresh rubber is the key to corner speed. We stock all major spec tires for sprint and oval racing with fresh date codes to ensure maximum grip.

Vega Tires

The Vega Red (VAH) is the standard for many 4-cycle sprint series. Known for consistent grip and long life.

Hoosier Tires

Hoosier R60/R70 compounds offer a wide operating window for asphalt sprint racing.

MG Tires

MG Red (SH) is a popular hard compound choice for 4-cycle classes requiring durability.

Burris & Maxxis

We stock Burris and other treads essential for dirt oval and specialized 4-cycle tracks.

Tire Prep & Maintenance Tools

Getting the most out of your tires requires the right tools. We carry bead breakers, tire scissors, and pressure gauges to manage your setup.

🏁 Pro Tip: Managing Tire Pressure

In low-horsepower classes like LO206 and Clone, rolling resistance is the enemy. A pressure change of just 0.5 PSI can change the balance of the kart. Always set pressures "cold" before you go out, and record your "hot" pressures immediately to understand how the tire is building heat.

Rain Tires & Wets

Don't get caught out by the weather. We stock Bridgestone and Hoosier Rain Tires to keep you on track when the conditions get slick. Racing in the rain requires a softer compound and specialized tread pattern to clear water and maintain contact with the asphalt.

Note: Most karting series have a "Spec Tire" rule. Please check your local track rules (whether WKA, AKRA, or local club) to ensure you are buying the correct brand and compound for your class.
