VP Racing Power™ Instant Detailer and Gloss Enhancer

VP Power™ Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer is a fluoropolymer spray for a clean, slick finish on kart bodywork. After you wash the sidepods, nose, Nassau panel, and number plates, spray a light mist and wipe with a microfiber. Dust, dirt, and water bead instead of smearing across the plastic. It is the quick grid-side wipe when the kart has to look sharp for photos, sponsors, or the dummy grid.

This is a finish spray, not a degreaser and not a wax stripper. It will not pull off a wax or sealant already on painted panels. On kart plastic and vinyl it adds gloss and helps the next layer of dust wipe off easier. It does not replace a wash after a dirty session, and it does not remove baked-on tire rubber or graphics glue.

Use it on the bodywork of an LO206 kart, not on the engine, clutch, chain, or brakes. Keep it off tires, the seat, the steering wheel, and pedal pads. A slick tire or a slick shoe is a crash, not a shine. Spray the panel, wipe with the grain of the plastic, and flip to a dry side of the towel so you do not grind grit into the vinyl.

• Tires, beads, or wheels you still have to handle

• Clutch, chain, sprockets, or axle
• Seat, steering wheel, or pedal pads
• Air filter, carb, or LO206 tin as a “shine” coat

How to use on a kart

• Wash first if the bodywork has rubber dust or chain lube on it.
• Shake the bottle. Mist a small section. Do not soak the panel.
• Wipe with a clean microfiber. Flip the towel as it picks up dirt.
• Stay off edges that dump product onto the tire or disc.
• Let it dry to a light film before you load the kart if you can.

FAQ

Q: Can I use this on an LO206 kart?
A: Yes, on the plastic bodywork and number plates. Keep it off the engine, clutch, chain, brakes, and tires. The 206 does not need gloss. The pods do.

Q: Will it make the sidepods too slippery in a bump?
A: It adds slickness to the surface finish. That is the point for dirt and water. It is not a handling product. Do not treat it like grip spray, and do not get it on tires.

Q: Is it safe on vinyl numbers and sponsor graphics?
A: Used lightly and wiped off, it is meant for finished exterior surfaces, including vinyl. Test a small corner on old, peeling graphics. Do not flood fresh wrap and leave it wet.

Q: Can I skip washing and just detail the kart?
A: No. Instant detailer hides light dust. It will smear rubber film and chain lube. Wash first, then use this for the last wipe.

Q: Will it remove wax or old polish?
A: No. Unlike some stripper-style detailers, this formula is made to sit on top of an existing wax or sealant rather than dissolve it.

Q: Can I spray the helmet or visor?
A: No. Use a helmet and visor product. This is for kart bodywork and similar hard exterior panels.

Q: What towel should I use?
A: A clean, dry microfiber. A shop rag full of grit will haze the plastic and scratch vinyl. Keep a dedicated bodywork towel in the trailer.

Q: Can I use it on aluminum rails or the seat?
A: Rails do not need a show shine, and the seat should stay dry and grippy. Stick to bodywork.

Q: When should I use it on race day?
A: After the kart is washed and dry, before dummy grid or photos. Do not spray it in the grid box where overspray can hit a tire or rotor.
