VP Racing EZ Spout: Quart SEF & Additive EZ Pour Spout

The VP EZ Spout is a rigid pour spout for VP quart and gallon cans in the karting pits. Snap it on the can, aim it at the kart tank or a marked jug, and pour without the usual glug, splash, and fuel down the side of the tin. It fits the job you actually have on race morning: fill the LO206 tank, top a practice jug, and empty a quart additive can without soaking the seat or the floor pan.

Pit pouring is messy when you use the factory cap as a spout. Fuel runs down the can, hits the hot header side, and ends up on the stand. The EZ Spout gives you a controlled stream into a small kart tank neck, a 2-quart or 3-quart upright tank, or a spare jug. Use it for VP small-engine fuel cans and quart additives. Keep one in the fuel box so you are not passing a wet can over the driver.

On an LO206 kart, pour with the engine off and cool enough to work next to. Ground yourself to the kart, keep the can low, and stop before the tank is packed. Leave room for slosh. Wipe the neck. Cap the tank and the can. Do not pour over the carb, air filter, or header. Fuel on a hot pipe is how a simple fill becomes a fire drill.

• No pouring next to a hot LO206 header, a lit stove, or a running generator intake.

Q: Is this for LO206 fuel fills?
A: Yes. It turns a VP quart or gallon can into a usable pit pour instead of a splash can. Match the fuel to the club sheet. The spout does not change what is legal.

Q: Will it fit my kart tank?
A: It is made for VP quart and gallon small-engine cans, then into a small tank neck or jug. It is not a pump. If your upright tank has a tight cap opening, pour slow and watch the level.

Q: Can I leave the spout on the can in the trailer?
A: Cap the can for the haul. A spout left on in a bouncing trailer is a leak waiting on the floor. Put the spout in the fuel box after you wipe it.

Q: Should I use the same spout for pump gas and ethanol-free?
A: No. Residual ethanol gas in the spout will contaminate the next can. Mark the spout or keep two.

Q: Can I pour additives with it?
