VP Racing 40:1 Fuel Mix: Premixed Ethanol-Free

Ethanol-free 4-cycle fuel is 94 octane, contains no ethanol, and is blended for small 4-cycle engines like the Briggs LO206. Use this same fuel at practice. Do not practice on pump gas with ethanol and then switch fuels on race day. Ethanol attracts water, gums the Walbro PZ carb, and changes how the engine starts, idles, and pulls off a corner.

Unlike E10 pump gas, this fuel is made from higher-grade base stocks with no ethanol filler. That keeps jets cleaner, reduces varnish in the bowl, and gives you quicker, more repeatable starts session after session. Practice fuel should match what you want the carb to see all week, not whatever came out of the station last night.

Keep your LO206 running like a race engine when you practice. Drain leftover ethanol pump gas out of the tank and bowl, fill with ethanol-free 4-cycle fuel, and use that same can for practice days. Check your club sheet before race morning, because tech still follows the printed spec. For seat time and carb health, stay off ethanol pump gas.
