If your Viper clutch levers walk, cock, or bind as RPM comes on, the problem is often the plate they sit against, not the levers themselves. This red anodized aluminum support locates and backs a standard Viper clutch lever or the Round Lever Weight so the lever stays square under load on a go-kart centrifugal clutch. It is the support those small metal levers rest on; it is not the clutch, the drum, or the springs.
The six-arm plate uses a large center bore, outer lever pockets, and multiple through-holes so the assembly stacks cleanly when you build or refresh a Viper clutch for kart racing. Finish is red anodized aluminum. Hardware is not in the box: you need FCDC-LP dowel pins, sold separately, to pin the support in place, plus a matching Viper clutch lever support screw if you are replacing fasteners at the same time.
Fitment: For use with standard Viper clutch levers or the Round Lever Weight. Requires FCDC-LP dowel pins (not included). Confirm lever style and pin kit before you order; this plate does not add engagement RPM on its own.
FAQ
Will this Viper clutch lever support fit my go-kart clutch?
It is made for standard Viper clutch levers or the Round Lever Weight on a Viper centrifugal clutch used in kart racing. It is not a universal clutch plate. If your clutch is not a Viper, this support will not locate the levers correctly.
Do I need extra hardware to install the red anodized support?
Yes. Pair it with FCDC-LP dowel pins; those pins are not included. Without the pins the support cannot stay indexed under load, so order the pin kit with the plate when you rebuild the clutch. A Viper inner thrust bearing is a common stack companion if you are already inside the clutch.
