The OMP FIRST is an entry fire-retardant balaclava for 4 cycle racing, including Briggs LO206, when you want a certified layer under the helmet. It is white, one size, and meant to sit close without adding bulk.

Fit and use

Wear it under a standard racing helmet, against the skin, so the helmet padding is not the only layer on your face and neck. Pull it on before the helmet and line the face opening up so the fabric does not bunch at the chin. Flat seams are there to keep stitches from rubbing during a long session. The fabric is described as breathable and sweat-wicking. It is still a fire layer. It does not cool you the way a cooling vest does.

Hand wash it with mild detergent and air dry it. Do not use bleach. Check your series book. Some events require an FIA 8856-2018 or SFI 3.3/5 head sock, and some do not. If the book requires it, this is the entry FIRST model.
