This is the thin metal ring that sits between the cylinder head and the block on a GX200-style clone engine. It seals combustion so compression stays in the chamber and the 4-cycle kart motor can run as designed. Beginners replacing a blown or leaking factory gasket on a clone engine get the same deck height and quench as stock. Racers rebuilding a 196cc clone for kart racing keep OEM compression instead of jumping to a multilayer performance gasket.

Does the .009 in thickness change compression?
Nominal thickness is .009 in thin metal. Installed on a true head and block, it holds factory clone compression and quench. It is not a performance MLS gasket meant to alter deck height.
How do I install this clone head gasket?
Clean the head and block mating faces, set the gasket with the bore and bolt holes aligned, then torque the head to the clone engine spec. Do not reuse a crushed or leaking gasket. On the same 196cc rebuild, replace the Ducar 196cc clone valve cover gasket and the soft graphite clone exhaust gasket if those faces are open.
Is there a warranty on this Ducar OEM gasket?
Treat it as a wear seal. Inspect for leaks after the first heat. If the part arrives damaged, contact the seller before installing it on your kart engine.
