Bell M.8 Sport Helmet SA2025
Bell M.8 Sport Helmet SA2025
Couldn't load pickup availability
The Bell M.8 Sport is a Snell SA2025 composite helmet for sprint racing, and for endurance and club events that accept that standard. It is an auto racing helmet. It is not a kart helmet. Confirm the standard with your sanctioning body before you count on it for a given series.
The shell is high-strength composite, built for impact resistance without the carbon shell used on the M8 ULTRA. The eyeport is wide, so you can see the mirrors and move your view without a narrow slot. Front intakes and rear exhausts are the ventilation path. The liner is multi-density.
Padding inside is comfortable, fully removable, and washable. That is how you keep the fit from packing out and how you clean it between weekends. Bell describes the shape as neutral, or oval. A usual Bell size is the right place to start. The fit should be snug and should not leave a pressure point. Use the size chart on this page. Do not guess from a street or motorcycle helmet.
The visor is ready for tear-offs and has a locking mechanism so the shield stays seated and can seal against lift and fog at speed. Posts are pre-threaded for a head and neck restraint. There is space for a radio and a drink tube. Those are mounts and room in the helmet. A restraint device and a radio are not described as items in the box.
Pick the M.8 Sport when you want this composite shell and Snell SA2025 for endurance and club use. The Bell M8 ULTRA is the other M-series helmet here. That one is carbon fiber, homologated to FIA 8859-2024 and Snell SA2025, with a closed-cockpit shape and a large eyeport cut for drivers who wear eyewear. Same family name. Different shell, different certification, and a different cockpit.
Swift Karting stocks the M.8 Sport for endurance weekends and club racing that call for an SA2025 composite helmet.
