Collection: Dunlop Kart Tires

Stock up on Dunlop kart tires here at the shop. Dunlop runs a solid kart racing division, turning out tires built for the demands of dirt ovals and asphalt sprints. These aren't street rubber; they're engineered for grip, wear, and speed on kart tracks.

Dirt Track Tires

For loose dirt surfaces, Dunlop's dirt compounds shine. The softer sidewalls flex over ruts, while the tread pattern bites into clay or hardpack. Common sizes run 4.50/10-5 up to 11x6-5, matching most LO206, 100cc, or clone class karts. Pick a D26 or similar pattern for dry tracks; they hook up quick out of corners. Wet conditions? Grab the rain groove versions to shed mud and keep you rolling.

Asphalt Racers

Asphalt demands harder compounds for longevity. Dunlop's slicks and grooved asphalt tires handle high-speed corners without chunking. Sizes like 10x4.50-5 front and 11x6-5 rear fit tag karts and shifter classes. The KT series holds edges on banked tracks, resisting heat buildup lap after lap. Rotate them every few sessions to even out wear.

Compounds and Sizing Guide

  • Soft compounds: Max grip, shorter life, ideal for qualifying.
  • Medium/hard: Race distance durability on abrasive surfaces.
  • Standard axle sizes: Check your hub bore; most are 4/110 or 4/4 patterns.

We've mounted Dunlop on everything from Cadets to Pro classes. They balance cost with performance; expect 20-40 heat cycles depending on track and style. Stagger pressures front to rear, say 12 psi front and 15 rear, and adjust based on your chassis setup. Always clean them post-race to extend life.
