Bully clutches are centrifugal clutches used in kart drive-lines to couple the engine to the driven axle as engine speed increases. Engagement is RPM-dependent: flyweights and springs control when the clutch shoes contact the drum, so the kart can idle without driving the wheels and then transmit power as revs rise.
