Drivers can still add Stilo accessories through purpose-built ports for communications, top forced air, hydration, and eject systems without altering the clean exterior.

Advanced Ballistic Protection integrates extra material into the shell around the forehead and visor opening, meeting FIA impact and projectile tests for debris exposure common in professional racing. The lightweight carbon fiber construction helps reduce fatigue during long sessions by minimizing loads on the head and neck from sustained lateral G-forces in high-downforce cars.

FAQ

How does the ABP standard differ from earlier FIA 8860 helmets?

ABP adds frontal protection directly into the shell structure rather than relying on a separate Zylon visor panel.

Can this helmet be used with forced air or radio systems?

Yes, the ST5 FN remains compatible with Stilo accessory kits for forced air, communications, hydration, and eject systems.

What maintenance is required for the visor?

Use only approved cleaners such as Acrysol on anti-fog and anti-scratch visors to preserve coatings.

Pair this helmet with Stilo ST5 Helmet Visors for color and anti-fog options, Stilo Crown Pads for custom interior fit, or the related Stilo ST5 FN 8860-2018 Carbon Fiber Helmet for an alternate configuration option.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0962/4721/8494/files/stilo-st5-fn-8860-2018-abp-carbon-racing-helmet-image.jpg?v=1790143142
