These pants deliver essential fire resistant performance while supporting comfort during extended track time.

What you get

FIA 8856 2018 homologated

SFI 3.3 homologated

Lightweight Nomex moisture wicking fabric

Flat seams

Tight ankle cuffs

Elastic waistband

Regular ergonomic fit

Part of the OMP First collection

Fit and use

The regular fit sits close to the body and reduces bulk under outer layers so drivers maintain full range of motion during long sessions. The fabric wicks moisture to help keep skin dry while the flat seams limit irritation points at the ankles and waist. Elastic at the waist and tight cuffs help the pants stay in place without shifting under a suit.

These pants pair with other OMP fire resistant layers and are suited for repeated use in 4 cycle racing environments where basic fire protection and comfort matter most. The ergonomic design supports freedom of movement so drivers can focus on performance rather than adjusting layers mid session.

FAQ

Are these pants machine washable?

Follow the care instructions on the garment tag to preserve the Nomex properties.

Can they be worn alone?

No, they are designed strictly as an underlayer beneath a fire rated race suit.

Do they stretch over time?

The elastic waist and fabric construction maintain shape with normal use and proper care.

Compare with the OMP Karting KS Winter-R Pants for added thermal stretch in cold conditions, the OMP ONE EVO Nomex Pants for seamless 3D cube cooling inserts, or the OMP Karting Underwear Short Sleeve for a matching upper layer option.

Sizing
